Lori Ellen Ward grew up in Jackson County (Marianna), Florida and transplanted to the Emerald Coast in 1996 when she married a true local, Michael Ward.  After earning her law degree at Florida State University in 1997, she began her legal career in a small Destin firm with a broad area of practice, where she quickly developed an interest in and proficiency at representing clients in the real estate industry.  Over the last 20 years, her practice has grown to include developers of large commercial and residential real estate ventures, local banks in their real estate lending departments and individual buyers and sellers of property.  For the 10 years preceding her transition to Emmanuel, Sheppard & Condon in late 2017, she was a sole practitioner in Miramar Beach and owner of Priority Title, a title agency providing insured residential real estate closings primarily in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

Outside of her professional activities, Lori has served as a past President of the Junior League of the Emerald Coast and remains a sustainer in that organization.  She is also a charter and Evergreen member of Impact 100 of Northwest Florida.  Professionally, she is an active affiliate with the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, a former treasurer of the Okaloosa Bar Association and the current Vice President of the Walton County Bar Association.  Her family is involved with a church plant in Santa Rosa Beach – King’s Cross Church – which meets in their backyard.  Lori and Michael have been married for over 20 years; they have a 16 year old son, a 12 year old daughter, 1 dog, 2 cats and an RV!

At Emmanuel, Sheppard & Condon, Lori’s practice is focused on residential real estate closings, but she also advises clients in the areas of general real estate matters, commercial and residential real estate development, business formations and transactions, probate and estate planning.  Lori works primarily in the firm’s Miramar Beach – Sandestin office, but is available to assist clients in our Pensacola and Tallahassee offices and can conduct closings in all 67 Florida counties.
